BIANCHI-MEDION 1e SHIRT 2003

De COAST-BIANCHI ploeg had begin 2003 verschillende financiele problemen.

Ultimately, the team was given a temporary starting ban by the UCI.

This was withdrawn again just before Milan-San Remo.

Later BIANCHI was appointed as CO-SPONSOR and later BIANCHI took over the entire sponsorship.

From then on, the team appeared in the characteristic retro BIANCHI shirts, and thus (unconsciously??) unleashed a true retro fever in the cycling shirt world.

Shirt gekregen van Tobias Steinhauser.
